Our story

I started Bluumly because I saw firsthand how hard small business owners work, and how unfair it can feel when all that effort doesn’t translate into growth.I watched my wife, Julie, build a homeopathic health business InBalanceSoul.com from the ground up. Every bit of it was full of her heart, originality, and meaning. Every product she made had a story. She poured herself into it—designing products, creating stories, making the products in our kitchen, managing inventory, packing orders, staying up late to keep things running—all while raising a young family with me. And yet, despite everything she gave, the return didn’t match the passion or the quality of what she was putting
into the world.

What I realized is that she wasn’t doing anything wrong. She just didn’t have the same resources that big companies do. In my own career, I had the privilege of working in large organizations where entire teams of marketing experts were dedicated to finding customers, building campaigns, and driving revenue. In Julie’s case, she was the marketing team, the product team, the finance team, and customer support. Marketing, understandably, often got left behind. That’s when the idea for Bluumly started to take shape.

I wanted to build something that would level the playing field—a platform that gives small shop owners the same marketing power big businesses have, but without the complexity, time, or cost. Bluumly is a smart, simple tool that connects to your shop and social media, scans your products, and automatically helps you get discovered by more customers. Behind the tech is a team of people who’ve worked at companies like Microsoft, Amazon, and PayPal, but we’re also small shop owners ourselves. We get it.

At Bluumly, our mission is simple: help small businesses grow. We believe that people who put love and purpose into what they create deserve the chance to thrive. You already work hard, and we're here to help that work go further.

And just like you, I hit a wall when I reached a point where I simply wasn’t making more sales. I asked myself: Does no one need my product anymore? Or have I already reached everyone who was interested and now there’s no one left? No — that was impossible. So after focusing a lot on solving this problem, I realized it all came down to the fact that my content had no voice. Even though I had a website, it wasn't reaching anyone unless I made my own efforts to promote it. So I started posting more and more on social media. It helped — but it still wasn’t enough.
